My flex is now 30 months Old and the battery is now needing a charge every couple of days which is annoying. Does anyone know what the lifetime of one of these should be as I don't see how battery can be replaced. TIA time for an Alta?

Battery cannot be replaced but it might still be under warranty. I had the same problem and they sent me a new one. I can't remember how long I had it though. Worth a try. Customer service was very helpful.

Average it should only need a charge every 4-5 days depending on how active you are. I get about 4 days out of a charge walking 14-16k steps a day.

Wow, you got a lot more life out of your Flex than I did! I've had an alta for a few months now and I love how long the charge lasts and it's much easier to charge than the Flex because it uses a clip to secure the charging cord. By the end of my Flex's life I had to do all sorts of things to get the connections just right, sometimes thinking it was charged and then realized it hadn't charged at all. I'm still getting used to the Alta though. It seems more generous than my Charge.

You could email customer service and see if they will do anything. Their customer service is brilliant. I had mine for 18 months when it went wrong. They replaced it for me free of charge even though it was out of warrenty. My son had his go wrong too and they sent him a new one at the 18month stage. It is certainly worth a try. Hello Chris. Didn't realise it was you.
