I'm right behind you! How does it measure up to phase 1? I'll be there next Monday.0

I haven't done the cardio yet, but the workouts are a bit more challenging. Nothing too crazy though, I'm really just struggling because my hips are jacked up and like pop out of place when I try to do certain moves, which is really annoying.... but, I definitely sweat a lot more with workouts 5&6, so I guess that's promising? And I bought some heavier hand weights so my arm muscles are way more sore than with Phase 1.... so.... hopefully I can break through my plateau... Ive had a lot going on though, I quit breastfeeding and had an IUD placed recently and I think my hormones are kinda out of whack... I've been sooo close to getting under 180 but keep fluxuating between 180-182... (I was almost 220 at the beginning of the year) aaaaaanyway.... way too much info.... but that's my experience with Phase 2 so far... lol. You seem a bit more in shape than me, so you might not find it as challenging, but it is faster paced and a little bit more advanced.0

I hear you. I was so excited when I broke under 180. I was stuck there for what seemed like forever. Now I'm desperate to break 150. & it is definitely possible for your hormones to be all wonky. Especially if you just quit nursing. I nursed all of my kids, so I know how that can be. Did you get the Mirena? I had that before but after a while I developed terrible bleeding and had to have it removed and it was awful but I loved it for the 3 years or so I had it. I'm thinking about doing the Essure. I am 100% sure that I don't want any more kids. 6 is definitely good for me.
I will try shoes from now on! I am looking forward to the next phase.

Rumswood. YOur shoes comment keeps making me laugh. I stepped on one kids hands back two years ago with my runners on, and have since ditched the shoes. Have been doing all my workouts without. I used to do a lot of yoga, always barefoot, and found some of these one legged stances way easier without as you can spread your toes/feet better or so I though.
I think you are both right about hormones ( I BF my two kids also). Give your body a chance as you have changed a lot since the beginning of the year, excellent progress. And congrats to everyone for sticking with the program !1 -
@rumswood
It's funny you should say that about the mirena, I've been bleeding for over 5 weeks, since they put it in, its super miserable. I had a mirena before having my son, and I absolutely loved it, after the first year I didnt have a period for 3 years. So currently my dr isn't concerned, that "abnormal bleeding is normal"... it's getting really old though. The weight was coming off a lot easier before I had it put in, but I am terrified of getting pregnant again just yet... I can't imagine having 6 kids, you my friend must be a complete bad@ss !0 -
@MarissaBlevins220 or a completely crazy woman.
I had the Mirena put in after my daughter and it was awesome until one day I started bleeding like crazy for weeks. Finally my Dr. Gave me something to stop the bleeding but once the medication was done it started again so we opted to remove it and then I went on the pill. I'd love to have it again because for the awesome most 3 years I did use it, i had no issues and it was great & I didn't have a period either, but I don't want to re-live that because it was miserable. But I know I don't want any more, I'm definitely good. My husband is reluctant to let me do anything permanent because he thinks I'll change my mind but he can rest assured I won't. Ha. I'm 34, not a spring chicken and I want to be done raising kids before I'm 60. I'm terrified of getting pregnant again too though. The last twopregnancies were really hard on me.
and @cheriels82, I stepped on my daughter's hand the other day working out and I'm glad I didn't have shoes on. I don't always wEar shoes depending on what room I'm in. If I'm in the living room, I just make sure my husband isn't home because he will complain about shoes on the carpet. and then in my bedroom I have a mat.
I am also proud of us all for being dedicated to this program. Wtg! !
I'm about to push play.2
