or

community.myfitnesspal.com/en/groups - and then look up the name of the group

Yes I invite people by sending them the link in a personal message then they can choose to apply to join or not. I always approve people who apply to join unless they have never been anywhere near 300lb. If someones highest ever weight was 275lb and they applied I would let them join but not less than that. The only reason people have to apply is that I set the group up as a private group which just means than only members of this group can read our posts. In open groups anyone could read our posts even non members. Every so often I go on main forum and post link to this group in relevant threads if someone over 300lb is asking for support, more often I send individuals private messages with link to let them know about group. I log in most days and approve any new applicants.
