I'm a newbie here - just started on Thursday. It's been okay so far. I've discovered already a few flavors I love, and one that I don't.

My clinic's plan allows for 5 shakes per day for men - so that's what I am doing.

Excited about this, because my brother has lost 80 lbs on a (different) medically supervised VLCD and he's been an inspiration.

Of course, I inspire myself too - I've lost (and gained) the same 200 lbs twice in the past 30 yrs. Mostly sanely... having used WW, Neuropsychology of Weight Control with a lot of success.

I weighed 375 lbs the week I started. I'd kind of like to get to 220... but my real goal is improved health and lifestyle.

One side effect I like so far - no eating out and no grocery shopping (or little) - so my budget is loving it.

    Welcome Karl and congratulations on starting the plan.
    I've been on it for almost 3 months, and I down 57lbs as of today.
    For me, the first month was the hardest. Hang in there. It works!

    Congrats and welcome! I've been on it for 7 weeks and lost 36 pounds. You can do it!
