Spasms/Twitching - HELP!

Hi Everyone. I'm Alexz. I have been stalking this group for the last couple of weeks, and reading all of your interesting posts. I'm happy to be a part! Looking for some advice today, really hoping you ladies can help me out!

I am 9 weeks pregnant :). Today I am experiencing WEIRD spasms in my lower right abdomen. They don't hurt at all, but you can see the twitching through my shirt! It feels very similar to when your eye twitches, or maybe a leg muscle. It's a crazy feeling, and even weirder to see my stomach moving. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm thinking that maybe my muscles are just stretching??? Just wondering if I should call my doctor or ignore it and move on.

    Hi Alexz, welcome! I don't know about those spasms, I never had anything like that. I think to be safe I would call the dr. and see what they think? It could be nothing but better safe then sorry :)

    Welcome & congrats!

    While I didn't actually SEE anything, I experienced spasms too. I didn't do anything about it and am now 19 weeks. Call your MD if you're concerned. If I remember correctly, weeks 8-12 were strange for me. No morning sickness or anything, but lots of "is this normal" thoughts about every bump and burp! Looking back, I wish I'd journaled things but I was so afraid of another miscarriage that I chose not to.

    For me it was stretching ligaments or constipation. Talk to you doc though.

    I get those spasms all the time. But I was diagnosed with crohn's disease. So for me it is digestion problems like gas/constipation/diarrhea. I'm sure that you are fine. Maybe just gas bubbles ????
