Is Premium less glitchy? And why is this synching so bad??

Hi Fitbit community!
I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the Fitbit synching my steps to reflect my daily calorie needs. A few days a month it just doesn't synch at all, or it synchs in a very erratic way, fluctuating between what seems to be accurate to nothing, to way too much. There's no rhyme or reason. When it works, it's the only method that keeps me on track. But when it doesn't it really drives me insane! If getting the premium membership would eliminate this, I'd spring for it, even though it seems pricy for all the other "perks" it offers... I do think it's a MFP problem and not a problem with Fitbit. Yes, I've done all the troubleshooting.
Any input would be appreciated! Also-- anybody else have this problem? I get between 20k-30k steps a day, so this is a huge difference for me.

Premium would have no effect on this.

BTW - the steps that syncs over (or not) to MFP has no bearing on the math for calories on MFP.

That is it's own figure that is synced over (or should) whenever Fitbit goes up by 100 more than prior synced amount.

When you see the lack of calorie change - what does the details on the Fitbit calorie adjustment show as to time of last sync and amount of calories then, compared to current Fitbit daily burn?
