Hi, I'm not part of a gym but I want to get into running, anyone that lives close by that would be willing to suffer (lol) with me?

    I'm not close to Laurell (I'm further south), but if you want to get into running, try finding the C25K app. That's how I got back into it... Followed by the Zombies Run app... and now I use MapMyRun. :) IMO, they're good places to start. Welcome to MFP!
