I am the mother of 4 great kids and happily married to my best friend for 29 years!! I have been going through a very difficult time in my life as I have end stage osteoarthritis and need double hip replacement. Most of the challenges we post here I can't do but I do what I can to workout so I can reach my weight loss goal for surgery in the fall. I have been very successful at doing just that thanks to this challenge and the great group of friends who have joined us for the last few months. I am looking forward to another amazing month with all of you:)

I am the mom of two beautiful girls who both dance and keep me busy running around for their calendars as well as mine. I have been training all winter and spring to run a half marathon next weekend, and despite that (or because of it), my weight isn't going down like it needs to. Long distance running burns tons of calories, but it also makes you ravenously hungry, so balancing the calories in and out is a challenge. Looking forward to decreasing my miles and increasing my cross-training to strengthen and tone my body before I move on to my next race in the fall. My amazing husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary this fall and I couldn't do this without him! I also have Multiple Sclerosis, so have good and bad days where I can do anything and sometimes nothing, but it lives with me, I don't suffer with it. Looking forward to the challenge with you all!

Hello everyone! My name is Julie, mother of 5, the youngest is 12. We have 2 grand babies. I work full time teaching, then home to take care of the house & hubby. We also have a mini farm so lots of goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, mini pigs and dogs, so tons to do! I have to workout or my day goes to crap.its important to me to improve my strength as my husband is ill, & I have to lift him often and he is a big guy! Love the daily challenges!!

Hi Everyone, I’m Tamika. I’m 38. I have been with MFP for a couple of years and have lost a great deal of weight but I have gained some of the weight back by falling back into a few bad habits. But I am determined to get back on track and stay on my path to a better healthier me. I have my 20 year class reunion coming up this October so I'm pretty motivated to stick to my plan of eating better and continuing to exercise more.

Hello all. My name is Sandi and I am the mother of one fabulous daughter and grandmother to one adorable toddler. I'm yet another person here who lost over 100 lbs six years ago and then allowed most of it to creep back on. I am losing a lot slower this time but my mindset is different and I'm making changes that can become lifelong habits. Looking forward to this challenge and to recovering my active life with less aches and pains from carrying around this excess weight!

Hello friends! My name is Rae and I'm 56. Wife of 35 years, mother of 3 grown sons and two wonderful grandchildren. My grandson will turn 3 this month and new baby girl is only 6 weeks old. She was a tiny preemie, so I'm so happy she is starting to put on a little chubby. However, grandma's not happy with putting on a little chubby. I've been on MFP nearly 18 months and lost about 25 pounds. I was happy with that loss, then got complacent and lazy with logging. I maintained for about 5-6 months, but now it's creeping back up again week by week. Life also happened with my father-in-law's serious illness, new preemie granddaughter, and a death in my husband's family. MFP and losing weight became a much lower priority for awhile.

This is my 3rd Apprentice challenge. April's was awesome! I had to drop out in May due to family responsibilities and traveling. Ready to rock this one for June and get back on track!

I'm Rus, 49 yr old IT professional, married for 29 years and dad to a 22 yr old son who is getting married in 9 more days!!, and daughter who turns 20 this month. I was on MFP for a couple years but wasn't serious about logging meals etc and so my weight see-sawed until Dec '14 and I've since dropped almost 60 lbs and have about a dozen more to reach my goal. This is my 3rd month with Apprentice and has been very motivating and great fun!
