    I only got to 5.5 miles yesterday. Plan to get to 6 today.

    Well after being busy and sick all weekend and yesterday, I'm taking it easy today!

    July 9th Commitment:
    -Drink 8 glasses of water
    -Stay within my 1,000 calorie deficit
    -Walk 1 1/2 miles during work
    -Walk for 15 minutes during lunchbreak
    -Reach my 10,000 step goal

    This evening I will do about 30 minutes of strength training and run 3 miles. I went grocery shopping last night and bought some new things to try for lunch when I'm at work. Today I'm having a sun-dried tomato/basil wrap with spinach & artichoke hummus, avacado, baby spinach, carrots and edamame. I'm excited to try it!!

    My Pilates class was cancelled tonight so my trainer gave me an ab workout to do instead. So that's on the agenda for tonight. We're having a going-away lunch for one of my co-workers today so my other challenge for the day is to make good food choices. And finally I kind of slacked on my water yesterday so I need to bump up my intake today.

    Today is "back" day, 30 minutes of cardio and 100 squats.

    Since it's been hot I've really missed my hikes and long walks!

    I have found it quite challenging to stay within my calories, lately. Determined to have a green day!

    Today I'm getting back on track. I did my usual 50 mins Tae Bo cardio and 15 mins strength training. I was away on holiday for a few days but I kept on exercising and had only one cheat meal on Sunday :wink:
