Do any of you use the Garmin HRM Swim? Was wondering how you like it and if you had any problems syncing with the Fenix 3?

I bought one last night. Have a trip to Ross Lake later this month. I'll report my findings.

It was too cold to swim for most of my trip so this is the best I've been able to do. Promising so far. No problems syncing. Strap stayed in place well, even (mostly) diving from a dock.

I had an HRM Swim (it paired fine), but I was not satisfied with the lack of real time feedback. I purchased a Mio Link that I wore on my wrist right above the Forerunner 920xt I had at the time. That worked quite nicely, except that although the watch paired with the Mio Link and showed HR, it would not upload any HR data to Garmin Connect. I was thrilled when I saw the Fenix 3 HR, so I bought it thinking it would allow me to track HR during my swims, only to find that the HRM in the Fenix 3 HR is disabled during swim activities. Quite recently, I upgraded to a Fenix 6X which happily does not disable the HRM. So if you are able to, I would encourage upgrading from the Fenix 3 to the Fenix 6. Then you'll have no need of the HRM Swim.
