If you had trouble finding the group in the search menu in the beginning, the reason was because I had the group set to private. Why would I set it to private? Because according to the settings, (which I've attached a screenshot of) if you set it to private, people can still see the group, but they can't see its content, users, or messages, and have to request to join. Sounds perfect to me, but it's full of lies. Private means you can't see the group. I am sorry for not double checking to ensure that the setting actually worked the way it was described, and will do so from now on to ensure function, before announcing.
