Wow ! 10 Weeks! I will be going out of town Wednesday through Sunday, so I will most likely not be checking in as often and I will have no access to a scale for 4 whole days! lol that is going to be weird!

Hello! Well, I guess I can say I am happy that I didn't gain weight this past weekend. My family went on a camping trip which includes little else than eating and drinking. I could not gain internet access so I was unable at all to keep track of anything. I attempted to eat better than I ever have on a trip like this but it was a Beerfest for sure. I got up today & ran 3 miles...I made today my official "start date" to begin training for a half marathon...wish me luck...I need to loose about 25 lbs more to make any sense of THAT goal....so I need to get serious now. Enjoy your trip out of town @heatherc369....sometimes a break from the scale is a good thing.

    Oh also.. Still not smoking!
My goal this week is to dial in my macros and do my 3 gym SL days. I'm also hoping to get in at least 2 JM Shreds this week.. I feel like i need more cardio type exercise to keep my weight in check. Glad to see you are back @LizSmith55! Let's do this week!

Way to go with not smoking...I smoked back in my 20's and quitting was TOUGH! So glad you are still at it @kerryatoon.

@LizSmith55.. Dude..its brutal. Seems I'm the last one in the group..lol.. It's about time :)
Today was a pretty good day.. I ate on point and nailed my macros (my goal for the week) I didn't smoke but had a bit of a rough day emotionally.. Kinda lost my temper with the kid when she was goofing off in karate. Know it was because of the smoking crazies..sigh. Anyhow here's my workout for today: running felt pretty amazing.. Getting better and better. Upped my weights too!

    Jog 1.5 miles 5.2 mph 170cals
    Squats 5x5 95lb
    Bench 5x5 70lb
    Barbell row 5x5 55lb
    Face pulls 5x10 60lb
    Cable crunch 4x12 100lb
Assist pull ups 79 lbs lifted 3x5
Assist dips 79 lbs lifted 3x8

Hope all you ladies had a kicka** day!

@kerryatoon it's normal, although I lose my temper with the kids all the time and don't have quitting smoking as an excuse! Hehehe you are doing awesome and it's so worth it!! Keep it up, come vent over here when you feel close to exploding! :)

Yes @Kerryatoon IT....IS....BRUTAL but just wait...you are going to fell SO FRIGG'EN GOOD when you are done with them. Not JUST bragging rights...but because you are physically going to feel just so much better. It's been awhile but today was a very good day for me health wise. Woke up, ran 3 miles (12 min mile....so slow) then walked a mile and came back to find out I lost 2 lbs since Sunday. I tracked EVERYTHING I ate (first time being THAT diligent) and came in under calories. I plan on hitting the gym 1st thing in the AM tomorrow with a similar eating day. It feels so good to get back on track. It's been weeks since I have been in control.

@NadiaMayl lol.. Don't know if I can blame it on the smoking or the kid..
@LizSmith55 great job! Keep it up the rest of the week! It's really simple cals in cals out stuff..I'm glad you feel like a success today!
Today was a rest day for weights for me..feeling so good not smoking still! I ate on point and met my macros for the 2nd day this week. I'm going to keep on top of those for the tomorrow too! Gym day tomorrow..woot! Should be squatting 100lbs then!!! Eek we'll see :)
    @heatherc369 hope you're enjoying yourself..we miss you!

@LizSmith55 I saw your post asking for help with entering recipes on MFP and when NadiaMayl posted it I was already planning to look it up since I knew I was under-using this feature myself. SO I googled it today and found this useful video.. going to simplify my life so much!!!! YAY!

Oh @NadiaMayl this Mommy thing is TOUGH right?? Well...sounds like you did great even with your hurdles. Keep up the great work. It's not my bedtime YET but I had a rest day from running & I stayed with in my 1.200 cals. today...I feel like I want to cheat with something sweet before bed but I AM NOT GOING TO! LOL. @Kerryatoon the video is PERFECT THANK YOU!!! I've been playing around with the food part of this off & on all day & figured out how to import recipes & THAT is super cool & now I know how to manually enter something...GREAT! This is very cool. I feel like This cal counting thing is going to help me reach my ultimate goal in a far faster & healthier way. THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES!!

Ok..so last night after I entered my diary I totally went mad on chips and meatballs.. lol! I know. I ate about 400 extra cals :( Dang. I decided to go ahead and enter them so I can accurately track what happens with my weight and measurements in relation to my diet but decided that i need to start leaving myself some extra cals to play with after dinner. Would like to just resist the urge but I'm finding with my new lifting and calories I'm a lot hungrier. Soooooo.. lesson learned!

Going to the gym tonight because tomorrow is going to be a busy day. Looking forward to seeing how I do with my new bench weight!!! 75lbs! :)

@heatherc369 Miss you! Hope you're having a great time!!!

@NadiaMayl How are you doing lady? Have you been back to lift again?! How is summer with the kiddos going?

@LizSmith55 How are you doing on tracking and logging your food for the week? Are you reaching your goal to log daily?

I'll try to get on here and post my weights after gym tonight.. but If not I'll post them tomorrow :) Have a great weekend Ladies!

@Kerryatoon So I believe (I have to check) but I BELIEVE I have tracked EVERYTHING all week!! If not EVERYDAY the majority of the week. The good, the bad & the ugly. I know for a fact I have not exceeded my cals for the past 3 days (I know...whoopdie do...but for me...this is big do'ens) & I've dumped a bunch of weight this week (like maybe more that 3 lbs) but this day is not over & my hubby wants to go out for dinner!! I only have 400 cals left for today (It was a rest day from running so I didn't even earn any extra....I HATE that) so I know I will go over tonight so I hope I don't ruin my weight loss from this week. I was feeling so good about getting back down into my "acceptable but not great range." Ha ha ha. Hope the rest of you ladies are doing well & @NadiaMarl I hope your husband is starting to feel better from that rib of his!!
