Krispy Kreme Challenge!

I posted this topic in the main forums but realized it may not be the best place for uploading our videos without judgement from the doughnut haters:

Unfortunately many of us do not live near NCSU where the official event (with 8,000 runners!) takes place each year.

However, there is no reason why we cannot do this on our own. I plan to complete the challenge at a local track and record it on video. The rules are as follows:
Run 2.5 miles
Eat one dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (or 2,400 calories of your local favorite doughnut if Krispy Kreme is not available).
Run 2.5 more miles
There is a 60 minute time limit

Currently I am doing Stronglifts 5x5 and training for a marathon. I enjoy my routine but appreciate some variety once in a while!

Damn paleo lifestyle. Can I do 2.5 miles, 2400 calories of a paleo-approved food, then another 2.5 miles? I'm not scared of the calories.
Or can I just sniff the bag alone in a corner?0 -
I don't think eating the donuts would be an issue.
The issue would be not reverse eating them on the run back.
I have many, many friends who have run this race. They say the run back can be hazardous in the extreme and it pays to be in front.0 -
In essence you are supposed to eat 12 donuts in about 15 minutes? Wow, that's the challenge right there.... I'd think I'd enjoy this challenge more if it was a 50 miler run and you had to finish all the donuts before completing the run :-D0

Rain or shine I will be attempting this challenge at a local 400m track this weekend!
60 minutes or less!0 -
If I was there, I'd be your camera woman (running beside you and all) to show the complete footage.0

Thanks! That would have made things a lot better
Here is what I was able to record on my own:

59:08 just below the 60 minute cutoff.
If I could do it again I would run the first 2.5 miles faster and eat my 15 donuts faster (15 x 160 calories = 2,400 calories total) so that I could run the last 2.5 miles a little slower (which may have been easier on my full stomach)0
