Alta not synching

All of a sudden, my Fitbit Alta isn't synching to my Android [Moto E] phone. Either it won't synch at all, or it simply won't display steps or anything in the app.

I've tried restarting the Alta several times. I've uninstalled and installed the Fitbit app twice, I've turned off and on bluetooth and have restarted my phone with no luck

Edit: the app started working once I moved it to my SD card on my phone, weird.
