questions about soreness

Yesterday I finished my 4th workout with 5x5. After the first three workouts I could barely move the next day I was so sore. Yesterday I felt like I was pushing myself hard but I'm not sore at all today. If I'm not sore, does that mean I didn't push myself hard enough or does the soreness only happen when you first start the workout?

Your body is getting accustomed to the movements.
You don't HAVE to be sore after every workout. You are generally only sore when your body is using your muscles in ways it never has before.
Once the weight gets heavier, you may feel more soreness but once again, it is because your body is not used to the stress.
Soreness does not equal effectiveness in a workout. Don't worry about it!1
