Duplicate activity entries in myfitnesspal

I use mapmywalk, mapmyfitness, myfitnesspal and Garmin Connect. I export walks and import them into Garmin Connect activities. I only have one entry each in the Garmin app. BUT, the activities in myfitnesspal frequently get duplicated. I can't figure out who the culprit is. Anybody else having this issue? Any solutions appreciated.

    I just got a Vivosmart HR+ today, if it works like my Jawbone UP3 did in terms of setup you connect your MapMyWalk/fitness/run apps to Garmin but not to MyFitnessPal. Have the Garmin app connected to MFP. So the MapMyFitness/Walk/Run apps will sync to Garmin and then Garmin will sync the data to MyFitness Pal. If all apps are connected to MyFitnessPal and syncing the same data then you will see multiple entries of the same data in MyFitnessPal.
