Asalamu Alekum,
Ramadan Mubarak to all of you,
May God accept our prayers and forgive us for all the mistakes we have done!
It is really a spiritual moment that a person should get rid of the bad attitude and behaves.
I need to know how do you guys log ur food?
What is ur first meal?
bcoz I'm lil bit confused about "Iftar" and "Sohor"...bcoz "Sohor" is at the end of the day 3:22 AM to my time! so I log it as a break fast or my first meal of the next day...
Just wanted to see what ppl think about it and how do they log their food to get useful information..
May God accept all ur prayers and fasting

salam, ramadan kareem.
i've been logging it as breakfast as it is in the AM.
However, i'm probably gonna switch it up and move iftar to lunch and sahur to dinner... just because... well. too lazy to wake up and eat in the morning. iftar is at 8pm and sahur is at 3am. not the best of schedules.0 -
Walaikum Salaam wa Rahmatullah
Ramadan Mubarak!
I have changed my settings for the month of Ramadan and set Iftar to be my first meal of the day, then two small pre and post Taraweeh snacks, then Suhoor to be my last meal of the day. I even changed the names of the meals on my account to make it easier, when it automatically changes to the next day at midnight, I just go back and keep filling in for the previous day, it's easier for me that way.
That's just my personal preference though.
As long as you are still logging everything you eat, I don't think it matters much what meal you call it, or where it's logged.0 -
Walikum elsalam
Ramdan mubarak,
Check my diary to see, Yes Suhoor is the first meal , then Breakfast......
I am just considering that day start @ 00:00 and end @ 23:59 so Suhoor first then Iftar.....0 -
Thank you guys who commented!
everyone is looks to his own best preferences!
I think Orient_Charm is the best thing for me and which I'm doing right now
Alrdy Suhoor should be something light and not heavy as many ppl doing!
for the past two days I drink Laban (low fat) plus a banana and some dates !!
I also watch some IG account #TheDietNinja and he recommend Laban low or fat free with (10~15 almonds) with 1-7 dates !! gonna try this one today it self0 -
I was thinking the same thing too! I'm doing this...breakfast is suhoor and then dinner is iftar.
I'm also eating a light suhoor and drinking plenty of water before the fast begins.
I really love this time of year!!!0 -
Salaamu aleikoum and Ramadan moubarek
You can easily change the names of your meals then log them that way. I usually do suhour on one day then iftar. Be sure to mark your water off!0 -
Walaykoum Asalam,
I don't wake up for Suhoor (because I'd rather sleep lol) but I just log my iftar as dinner.0 -

It honestly makes me hungrier during the day if I wake up and eat suhoor. For iftar this year, I have been making sure to hit my calorie goal and not go overboard and I have lost 6 lbs.
Coffee though, I miss my coffee in the morning. :sad:0 -

I used to be hungrier when I eat suhoor! but this year I felt much better! only when I make it light suhoor! I don't feel hungry!
Woow congrats on your loss !!
I did missed my tea in the morning and now it is back!0
