Hi All,
Forgive me if this has been asked already. I am planning on starting heavy lifting. wanted to know if 1) is it something i can do from home or do i need a gym membership 2) if i can do it from home what equipment do i need especially for the overhead press. 3) I weigh 215lbs and weightloss is my number one goal, how many calories should i consume to loose weight whiles lifting. Thanks in advance

The equipment needed is a bench press, an Olympic barbell, weight plates and a squat rack. If you have that in a home gym, then definitely go ahead.
The overhead press uses an Olympic barbell and plates.
If your main goal is weight loss, eat at a calorie deficit but maybe not too big of one if you want to support your lifting.0
