This challenge has been very helpful to me these past 6 weeks. I haven't lost much by any standards but I figured that maintenance is going to be quite easy for me.
I would like to continue to weigh in every week.
Does anybody else want to do this?

I'm going to extend for a week. This past week was completely off-wagon due to death in the family. Hasty 12 hour road trip each way. We got there just before she passed (my wife's oldest sister), and spent the week in a house full of family (that part's a good thing) leading up to the memorial service.
So anyway, this last week officially does not count as part of my six.

Understand completely, Mark. Life is never perfect in our weight loss journey. My dietitian said to never aim for perfection. Aim for an overall healthy lifestyle.

Exactly. I have lost some. Not as much as I would have liked. That would be nice to keep weighing in. But, I am also weighing in on another challenge that lasts all Summer. The weigh-ins are just a day apart, so I might drop this one. No hard feelings.

I'm confused. I thought there was a final weigh in today since the first week was not reporting if we lost it was just to weigh in. So are we supposed to be putting our final weight here or was that already done on the Week 6 Weigh-in thread?

Well, in case we are to report our weigh in today and so I don't forget, I'll post it. lol When I weigh in last week I was so frustrated because I had remained at 235 for three weeks. The next day I got on the scale and weighed 233! So then I weighed again at the end of the week and I was 235...AGAIN!!! I KNOW I'm eating right and not over the healthy food either. I was just determined to keep doing what I'm doing. This morning I got on the scale and I was 232...a pound less than I was when I broke the plateau on Monday. So after 6 weeks of weigh ins. This is the result.

    Six Week Accountability Challenge

    Week 1: 240
    Week 2: 240
    Week 3: 238.5
    Week 4: 235
    Week 5 :235
    Week 6: 235
    Week 7 FINAL 232

8 lbs in 6 weeks. I won't complain. I really hope it keeps going down now. I think everyone here did a fabulous job. Even maintaining is good when there is so much to tempt us.

    Hi all,
I will try to keep posting here for awhile. I lost six pounds during our challenge. My final weight is 139.4. My long term goal is 120 (I'm short), so this challenge kept me on track. I've been a little more relaxed about eating lately because I've had some health issues pop up, but I'm going to get right back into it today. Hope everyone has a great week. Happy 4th to those in the States!
