I did Day 10 of level 3 of the shred last night! That means I finally completed it I guess, I still feel like I need to do it again without the 4 day break from 3rd degree sunburn and 5 day vacation break ....will post pics soon, I see a slight difference but not as much as I had hoped, maybe one more round straight through will give me what I am looking for? also I am going to incorporate more weights a few days a week because seeing the changes in my arms is addicting and I want some guns! lol
I went over my step goal, met my water goal, calories were good but my dinner turned out horrible! Tried a new crock pot recipe and I do not know how I always end up frying my meat out ugh and way under cooked my green beans blah lol1 -
@heatherc369 WOW great job lady!!! I am excited to see you take on weight training.. I just love seeing and feeling the changes. I'm still stuck on the scale but I've brought my calories from 1200 to 2000 and have only gained 3-4 lbs over the last 2 months. I would say that's ok
@NadiaMayl it's nice to see you here! Miss your funny and excited posts everyday but totally get the need for a break.
I'm at 23 days smoke free and feeling great!! WOOT! I just increased my cal goal to 2000 and it's so nice.. it freaks me out but I'm committed to this metabo-reset idea and I'll be inching up a little more to find my true TDEE. I've got to track religiously though. So I hit the gym last night and had a great workout.
Walk/sprint 0.3 miles treadmill
Squat 5x5 115lbs
Pendlay Rows 5x5 55lbs
Bench press 5x5 75lbs
(I was working off a couple fails last time so my weight stayed put a bit but I killed all my reps.)
Accessories: Face pulls 4x12 60lbs
Cable Crunch: 4x12 120lbs alternating 6in leg raises 4x12
So I'm headed out of town to Phoenix this weekend and I'm going to load up on healthy snacks and my high protein stuff. Excited to be on a trip where I'm able to eat 2000 cals.. I won't have to obsess about calories, can relax and enjoy. The hotel has a gym so I'm going to hit it on Friday and Sunday just to get in a little me time and sweat therapy. I have never been to a hotel gym before.. lol.. i used to wonder what was wrong with people that go on vacation and exercise. NOW I GET IT! Going to be a fun weekend!0 -
Hehehe enjoy the weekend @Kerryatoon ! I leave for vacation tomorrow and all the stress finally got my tummy today... Which might be a sign of "hey, not bloated, all emptied out, ready to kick start again!" (I know, TMI)..... At the hotel's gym of all places!!! Hahaha I'm going to try my darnedest to get my unmotivated *kitten* in there...
I'll still pop in here a couple of times per week, so keep the updates and great work coming!0 -

I worked 12 hours yesterday, got home i was starving, son was starving and hubby was asleep so I had to go straight to making dinner then it was just too late and I always feel sick if I workout after dinner so I just didn't. Eating was on point, met my step and water goal for the day......a little nervous about this weekend though! Saturday my hubby is DJ'ing on the casino cruise ship (means Heather gets her drinky drinky on) and then also another event at the beach the next day, my son is coming to that party so not so much drinky drinky but still lol2 -
Made it through traveling into Mexican beach! Jumped on the scale before leaving home as a base for when I got home.... Surprised to have seen the number (but it might have a lot to do with the bad stress tummy day the day before, so I'm expecting 2-3lbs more than that)! Howeeeeever, it cracked me up because it WAS my goal weight for vacation trip, hahahaha and I was really frustrated at not achieving it, I nearly spit my coffee at karma shoving the number down my throat on departure day!!! Hahahaha
Stress traveling, post-tummy day, not a lot of food while travellers Ng, just teas and water, so calories on point, and plenty of steps today.... I hope to make it for a run or s good walk tomorrow!
@heatherc369 don't forget sunscreen, hat, umbrella for cruise/beach!! Take care of that skin and have fun!1 -

I did not do a workout video last night but instead I trained my biceps and triceps with my hubby it was really nice I didn't meet my step goal because we were so busy at work I was stuck at my desk and I didn't meet my water goal because I didn't have hardly any time to drink any water I only got 6 cups in but whatever it happens lol0 -
I finally made it to the gym.... Felt so good Hahaha after four weeks!!! While on vacation!!! I must be desperately trying to escape

Day 3 at the gym... 6:00am is a nice time to workout, when you just have a short walk to the gym, the family is still sleeping and the rest of the day is to do nothing but stare at the ocean and hear the waves!hows everyone doing?
I may actually loose weight, since my stress tummy IBS is acting up again... Not much eating for this lady! Not exactly ideal on vacation, in Mexico, where I feel like eating everything, but it comes with an upside, I guess.... Hoping tummy will feel better tomorrow, it's too hot to be downing mint/chamomile tea all day!0
