What fitness centers have you tried?

There are numerous places around town from the cheaper end 24 hr type places to the more expensive Prairie Life and others. Which ones have you tried and how would you rate the facility and staff?

Personally I've had memberships at 68's Inside Sports, Healthridge, and the Olathe Community Center.
I most often go to 68's because it is the closest to my house and I can bike there. The main facility (they have 3 now i believe) reminds me a bit of "Average Joe's" from the movie Dodgeball. A bit older building but has a good variety of options available and is relatively inexpensive. The staff has always been friendly and they have good class schedules and variety.
Healthridge was a bit more of the "GloboGym" or "Johnson County Gym". A bit more upscale and had a bit of a pretentious feel to it. The members and staff there were always nice but the place is a bit expansive. I didn't explore many of the classes other than Spin so I can't comment much there and that's been over a year now.
OCC is somewhere in between. Decent setup on the new building and new equipment but a good variety. Good options for classes (unless you want early afternoon) and the pool is outstanding for a fitness center indoor pool. Staff is always welcoming and the price is a good mid-range for all that you get.0 -
I work downtown and our building has a small fitness center, so I've primarily used that due to convenience and cost ($25/mo). For cardio equipment it has 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals and 2 stationary bikes. It has a nice dumbbell set from 5 lb-60 lb with a couple of benches and then mainly weight machines. It also has a separate workout room with large flat panel TV for workout videos, etc. that I have used for Turbo Jam and they also have some Yoga and P90X videos.
My daughter uses the Y in Olathe and likes it quite a bit and my wife would also like to do some water aerobic classes, but currently has limited access to transportation.
