Good Friday morning. Hope everyone is having an awesome day!!! My 24 year old niece is having a baby in about 3 months, so my mom and I are going baby shopping today. Helps me get my steps in. I also have a date tonight with a very handsome younger man. We are going to TGIFridays. I LOVE TGIFs food. This has been an awesome week for me, although I have not been able to do arm exercises. I lift the 3lb weights and I can feel it in my incision, if that makes any sense. So I'm holding off and trying again on Sunday.

    1. Continue drinking water daily 6-8 16oz bottles. *completed every day
    2. Continue working on 75 grams of protein per day *completed every day
    3. Add 1 intentional flight of steps per day over the normal up and down the steps. *completed
    4. Continue to try to get a fruit/veggie in with each meal and snack. *getting better at this. I'm enjoying frozen fruit in with greek yogurt
    5. Since I am limited in the weight I can lift, start with 3lb weights, do arm exercises. 5 different exercises, 3 sets, 15 reps each. **holding off till Sunday.

    Calories with exercise (2160/2250)

This is how week two played out:

    7/8/16: Under calories ✓ Worked out ✓
    7/9/16: Under calories ✖ (4/4) Worked out ✖ (3/9)
    7/10/16: Under calories ✖ (5/4) Worked out ✖ (4/9)
    7/11/16: Under calories ✓ Worked out ✓
    7/12/16: Under calories ✓ Worked out ✖ (5/9)
    7/13/16: Under calories ✓ Worked out ✓
    7/14/16: Under calories ✓ Worked out ✓

I have no more days available to be over calories and have went over an additional day that was allotted. (5 out of 4 times) and I have 4 days left that I'm able to go without a workout. All in all, it was a successful week! (especially given comparison to previous months.) Here's to another successful week!

@50extra Everyone has off days but I do agree that planning helps to stay on track! Keep up the great work!

@carimiller7391 Ohh, lots of things to look forward to Cari! I hope the date goes well! Does your niece know what she's having or is it going to be a surprise? I definitely think you made the right decision holding off on the arm exercises. Don't want to do too much too soon. I hope it works out better on Sunday for you! Way to go on meeting your goals, you're doing great! (I love greek yogurt! I just had some today with kiwi. It's the most filling breakfast option for me.)

@WifiresGettingFit my niece is having a baby boy. I can't wait. I opted for personal reasons not to have children of my own, so I can spoil this little one. Thanks for the positive feedback. Much appreciated.

The 15th I was about 20 calories below what would be my maintenance calories.
The 16th: I was at an event and although we packed our own stuff, I was still way over for the day.

Great job @50extra. You're doing wonderful.

@WifiresGettingFit I hope you enjoyed your event yesterday.

Since Friday evening, I have been off plan. I'm trying my best to get back in the groove. It's what my father would have wanted for me.

    Reminder of my July Goals:
    WifiresGettingFit July Goals
    • 4 active days out of every 7 days for at least 30 minutes (I'm working on making exercise a habit again) so 12 active days out of 21 days (3 weeks) If I do more - great but this would be the absolute minimum
    • 17 calorie days at or below goal out of 21 days (3 weeks)

As far as activity goes, I nailed it. I had 4 active days each week and they were all 40 minute workouts or longer.
I went over calories 3 extra days but I'm still calling the past three weeks a success!

I've been keeping tally on my profile along with checking in on this thread and I think it's really helped me become more accountable along with helping me know where I stand on a day to day basis. I'm really glad we did this! =)

@carimiller7391 @50extra how did you guys do? It's been a while since either of you checked in. Don't leave me here all alone. haha =P

EDIT: Eek well after I thought about it, I realized that I wasn't thinking very well, was I?@carimiller7391 I stupidly forgot what you're probably going through right now so just ignore me. *HUGS* @50extra I believe I saw a status where you are already home so you are probably in your happy place. Hope you're enjoying your time!

@WifiresGettingFit great job on finishing out strong! Looks real good all checked out. I'm really glad we decided to do that.

I have been home for two nights now and haven't gotten around to exercising but was kinda my plan. I'm packing my little girl up and leaving for the lake on Sunday for three weeks. Just taking care of some stuff around the house for now. The weathers beautiful and it feels damn good to be home.

I'm already bored of my July workouts...I have been super slack this week, so it's time to change up the routine for the next two weeks!!!

Did my measurements today, I'm down weight but up half an inch in the waist - might just be bloat from having wine last night at dinner, but no point taking chances, time to take it up a notch!

Good morning everyone. Life has been sheer hell since last Sunday. As some of you know, my father passed last Sunday morning. I have so very much to do now. Today is my first day back on plan. I am hoping to be here more often and able to offer more support.
