What was your Ah Ha moment?

I always assumed that if my daughter needed an organ transplant I could do it no problem. The Dr told me NO. I was too heavy I needed to be physically fit and my body had to be in the best shape in it's life in order to do this or I wasn't going to make it. I didn't think I was that heavy and here he is showing me a chart telling me I'm obese. I left in tears and started immediately to get my health in order just in case it came down to my daughter needing me. I still have a ways to go but slow and steady wins the race.

For me it was not being able to take three steps without stopping to catch my breath going up the mountain on our first family backpacking trip. I didn't realize I was so out of shape! I started 5k 101 after we returned home, and after making running a habit, I began to work more consistently on my diet this past February. I'm loving the improvements in my health and fitness! Not evey day is perfect, but I am greatful that I have this chance to turn things around.0
