Oh no! Caught hubby's bug?! I'll keep you company!! Day 3 stuck in bed eating frozen Gatorade slushies... And a cocktail of antibiotics, probiotics and an antacid... Yay for a little stomach bug caught in the middle of a major IBS attack....

Not to mention an outrageous doctor's bill for a hotel visit... :( oh well, hoping tonight is truly my turning point and I can soak up some sun and waves for our last few days of vacation. :)

#LOL. Good job! I mean, OUTSTANDING job! Dedication and hard work, there you see the results... bOOM!
I'm finally joining the land of the living! Spent a few hours at the beach, drank all the Gatorade needed, added a bit of toast and rice, hahaha.... Felt a bit weak but otherwise able to leave the room! Yay! Tomorrow will b even better!
Looking forward to getting home on Friday and getting to work on the issues that landed me this yucky tummy gig = stress management!! I need an overhaul on perception, self-esteem, and life balance... This week was a nasty wake up call. Thank the Universe for a fantastic and supportive hubs!

Hi Ladies! Sorry I've been kinda MIA this last week.. I'm adjusting to the new job and have been getting over being sick too!! Stupid chipotle chicken made both me and a friend sick. :( And it was my first time at chipotle.. so never doing that again.. boo! @NadiaMayl I'm glad to hear that you've gotten out to enjoy the beach and I'm hoping that you will continue to feel better and better. Definitely can relate to the underlying issues of stress.. try to take it easy on yourself, you're almost 40 ya know.. lol. Eeek me too!@heatherc369 its great to see you going strong.. dropping that weight like a pro! I'm impressed with your dedication lady!

As for me I'm doing pretty good.. 37 days smoke free and 3 days nicotine gum free! WOOT! Feeling good about it at this point. Dealing with new job responsibilities is stressful but I'm grateful when I get the pay checks.. lol. I haven't lost any more weight, in fact the last three lbs I gained is staying with me but my average cals are up to 2200 on average so I'm loving my life lol. Holding steady at my weight the last couple weeks so I'm going to stay put for about 2-3 months on maintenance. After that I can introduce a small cut and start chiseling away at the last 15-20 lbs to my goal. I had some pics taken by a friend this last week and even though I'm a bit heavier I noticed that my cellulite on my legs/thighs has essentially disappeared. My legs and thighs look amazing right now. Muscly and lean. So I'm sticking with this as I keep up with my strength gains. My last workout was Monday and I'm going to the gym again tonight. Here was my workout 7/11:

Warmup Incline treadmill, Sprint/Walk 1/2 mile

    StrongLifts
Squats 2x5 95lb warmup, 5x5 115lb (staying lower as I really focus on form)
OHP 1x5 45lb warmup, 5x5 60lb (KILLED THIS, Finally broke by plateau of 50lbs!!)
    Deadlift 1x5 95lb warmup, 1x5 135lb Woot!

    Accessories (done HIIT style)
    Face pulls 5x12 60lb
    cable crunch5x12 120lb
    6in leg raises 5x12

    Assisted dips 3x8 85lb

GREAT Jobl @heatherc369 ¡! We arrived yesterday and I survived traveling on 2 pieces of toast and a banana.... Hahaha oh and Gatorade.... Today better, coffee was a bit of an iffy, but I couldn't resist a cup! Managed to eat rice and chicken breast for, lunch and yyyyaaaayyy a ham and cheese sandwich for late afternoon.... It seems to be going well... Still super tired. Did about 8 loads of laundry and put it all away... So tomorrow, I can just do NOTHING for my bday!
I did make it to my ultimate goal on Friday! So yay, even if some of it was due to 10 days of almost no food.... 153.2 feels good! New mini goal 150!!!!
Feeling kinda bummed about being under the weather for my 4-0, hubs had to cancel a reservation to a Brazilian restaurant, I don't think I could handle all the protein, grease and salt just yet....
So on to a new day and a new start!
@kerryatoon awesome on the nonsmoking! How are you doing wo gum? Did your kiddo come back yet? So sorry to hear about your chipotle fiasco! I liked eating there but haven't since the food poisoning scandal thing (I'm super phobic of stomach bugs and issues -ha, and I've just had one of the worst ones of my life)!!!! I hope you're all back to normal!
