Cyst burst?

Cyst sisters, I need your help/ advice please! I have PCOS with "multiple cysts on both ovaries" and have in the past had ovarian cyst burst causing pain and surgery. Today I was working at a kids summer camp and this little girl jumped at me and head butt me super hard in the lower belly/ right ovary area. She just got excited and didn't mean to cause me any hurt. But... Ohh man did it hurt!!!!!! Instantly it was like a flash of intense pain. I literally saw spots and almost PUKED on her, that's how bad the pain was. I tried to recover quickly and move on like adults do in the company of kids. That was 4 hrs ago. The pain in that area has only slightly decreased now to a sharp throb ache in that one (less than a quarter sized) area with a webbing of pain going out from it down my leg, across my back, tummy and butt. The same type of pain I had last time resulting in surgery. My question for you, my cyst sisters, is this, Is it possible to rupture a cyst from an outside injury? If I did have a cyst burst, will it just go away or will I have to have surgery again? Due to a series of unfortunate events, I currently don't have insurance. I also am visiting my mom 3000+ miles away from my regular Gyno. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?!?!?!???? HELP, please!

I've never had surgery from my cysts bursting, and the worst time I ever had was on a field trip with my kiddo to a museum. I got the blackening tunnel vision, ringing in my ears, cold sweats, horrific pain, and thought I would pass out, but it passed in about an hour. I have had the "I want to cut out all my lady parts" levels of pain for hours/days, but nothing close to what you describe. The main issue, to my understanding, is that the rupture releases a toxic fluid than can cause allergic reaction. Since I never needed surgery, I'm not sure what the surgery was for - so I can't say whether you'd need to have it again...
Oh, and pretty much mine would rupture every time at ovulation (every 6-8 weeks at that point) or with excessive activity (like the field trip when I did sedentary work normally)... I haven't had this issue in years, though, admittedly.1 -
Mine bust and went away on their own. I had the type of pain you are describing but I don't remember having an outside force. I think it is possible.. this may be tmi, but a friend who gets it pops Hera on purpose with intercourse so I would assume you could other ways as well. I would go and be check by a doc because if it's not a cyst it could be a muscle in your back surprisingly enough. My sciatica can radiate to all sorts of places.0

Thanks for the info ladies. Two days later the pain has mostly subsided to a dull ache. That makes sense about them rupturing at ovulation. I'm right within that time frame.0
