Dave, continued prayers. Cancer sucks. It sounds like your DW is one tough cookie, though. Great she has you for support.
Bill, nice card, Mr Senior Citizen.

Good Morning! Yes, prayers continue Dave, for your DW, and for you.
Heat wave continues... It is nasty outside even now. When the dew point is above 75, it just feels gross outside.
Ah, we had another cop shot in KCK last night. My son has a friend who's dad is on the force. His dad had an off day, but is the senior for that area. That was his beat! The cop that was killed was his captain. When will the stupidity stop? Please say a prayer today for our first responders, and those that protect us daily.0 -
You and your wife are in our prayers, Dave.0

Good morning gentlemen.
Prayers do get answered. DW's pulmonary doctor called last night. The radiologist read her PET scan and, while there was something going on, did not feel it was a glaring alarm for cancer. There is a possibility that the nodule might be a very localized infection. Anyway, the recommendation, now, is for interventional radiology to do a needle biopsy, rather than going straight to surgery. DW isn't out of the woods yet, but the underbrush just cleared up a lot.0 -
Wow, that's hopeful news maybe; Good luck there, Dave. Steve, sorry to hear about the police officer out there. world is crazier than ever, it seems. We had a cop killed a few months ago in Auburn, small town near me where DD and 4 kids live.
I lost 2.8# at yesterday's WI. Second week in a row; 1.8# last week.0 -
Good Morning!
Dave, great to hear the encouraging news. Prayers are continuing for more positive results and strength for the journey!
We had a good day at Yosemite, the most active I have been all year. We rented beach cruisers (weighed a ton) and rode around the valley for a couple of hours with a couple of stops to give my back a break. Walked all around till we cleaned up for dinner and walked some more. We have missed our frequent trips here. Though we are no longer at a trailhead bright and early to hike up and about all day, the sheer beauty makes just hanging on the valley floor exhilarating. Burned over 1000 extra calories. Ate em all. No regrets. Today we will see how my back responds as we have an easier day.
Have a great day!0 -
Good Morning,
Mike, CONGRATS on Loss.
Dave, news sounds better; will continue to keep DW and you in prayer.
Storm came through yesterday and knocked 3 trees across road where we could not get to house. DW called neighbor who cut up where she could get by. Since we are cleaning out to move, I had already given my DSIL my chainsaw; plus I'm not quite as good as I once was. Since they called me I got a little extra work in at gym.
Continues HOT & HUMID, expecting triple digits this weekend with thunderstorms.
Enjoy the Day,

Hello gents. I'm back. I haven't been posting for quite some time, but have been looking in every so often. Been busy and have done a lot of traveling. Just found out that everyone is moving here. I plan to finally retire in about 6 months and get more time on my hands.
Sending T&P Dave.0
