Elevation concerns during a marathon.

I signed up for my first marathon! The Rock n Roll in Vegas! I'm from Colorado; I live and train at 5280 feet above sea level. Las Vegas is 2030 feet.
I wasn't too worried about the altitude change but I realized I was going down to sea level, 3 weeks before the marathon for a cruise.
Is this change in altitude going too affect me at all? Is there anything i can do? It's less than 3 months away and I'm getting nervous.

I am certainly no expert on the subject, but I don't really think you have anything to be concerned about.0

I'm pretty sure if you're back home for a while before the Marathon, you'll be fine, you'll get re-acclimated at home and be good to go for the Marathon0

I'm pretty sure you'd be fine to step off the cruise and run your marathon, assuming you kept your fitness up.
Runs back home might be a little harder though.0 -
As long as you keep your fitness up during the cruise time, there will likely be no difficulty. However, the air will likely seem "thick" to you at first when at sea level.0
