Time Out have two deals for London based fitness if anyone is interested. (NB: I have no affiliation with Time Out - I just receive their emails and thought these might be of interest. Others feel free to post any deals they come across)
[London - City] Personal Trainer; 3 one-to-one sessions for £49 (in park) or £79 (in studio)
https://www.timeout.com/london/shop/health-and-beauty-my-personaltrainer-july-2016
[London-Clapham] 6 Barre Concept sessions with Fitness First for £19 (normally £15 each!)
https://www.timeout.com/london/shop/health-and-beauty-fitness-fusions-barre-concept-sessions
Not sure how long you've got to order vouchers, but classes must be used by end October.

Science in Sport are currently giving away 12 free gels via Facebook.
I'm a big fan of their stuff and find that they do enough offers so that I never buy stuff full price0 -
Thanks mr_b - I'm also a big SiS fan so will definitely make use of this.
For others, direct links is http://www.scienceinsport.com/uk/promotions/free-gels-sign-up
Redemption seems to be via a voucher code they email and you have to pay the £3.99 postage (or free if you order £10 worth of other items) but definitely worth it.0 -
For any of you with android phones/tablets, Google's deal of the week is the "Fitness Buddy: 1700 Exercises" app. I haven't used it myself but seems to have good reviews and at just 10p it's worth a try! I've downloaded it so will give it a go tomorrow.
Offer valid until end of Monday 3rd October: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skyhealth.fitnessbuddyandroid0 -
Just a quick update on the FItness Buddy app I mentioned in previous post - switched my days around so didn't do a strength workout today but did have brief look at the app, and has lots of workouts and exercises with good descriptions and videos of how to do them properly. Didn't look at the tracking side but offers a way to track your workouts also, as well as tracking body measurements. The app doesn't sync with MFP if that's an issue for you, although it does sync with Google Fit. The app also doesn't work in landscape (widescreen) mode on my tablet, which I like to use when working out at home which is a major downer for me as I prefer being guided via the larger screen rather than using my phone. Seems easy enough to use though.
Like I say I haven't used the app in anger so there may be other things that crop up in live use. However, if you're looking to check your form on exercises without asking someone, or want to explore some new exercises or routines then I'd highly recommend this app as it's absolutely loaded with them - machine, bodyweight and free weights. I especially like it has some bodyweight only routines for when you can't get to the gym!
Not sure how much it is normally, but I'd definitely recommend snapping it up this weekend whilst it's only 10p!0 -
FYI all: The SIS promotion is back, and this time you have a choice between 12 free gels or 10 free energy bars:

For android users, Google deal of the week is currently Runtastic PRO for 10p. I use this for logging my runs and have found it works well (and syncs with mfp). I particularly like you can program intervals into it (which is bonus over strava) and you get a countdown after hitting start to when it starts recording so you can put your phone away - seems a little thing but I really like that!
The social side of Runtastic is apparently not as good as strava, but I don't mind that/can't comment as don't use it. It also pesters you into signing up for premium plan, but for me it works well so if you're in the market for something to track your runs then worth a try at this price.0
