I'm 49 have been on MFP for over a year and have lost as of now 24 lbs. I had lost 30 but some weight creeped back on. So now it's time to get my rear back in gear. Plus I finally got the nerve to register for an 8 k so now it's really time to get myself in shape. I'm not running it I will be a walker but it's a start.

I'm not a gym person but I like to walk the park.

I have to admit my biggest Ok I am moving on with my life was when I registered for the Turkey Trot on Tuesday. I got to put down my daughter as my emergency contact. LOL She texted me back and said Mom What Are YOU UP TO? I thought this is it I have reached that chapter where I can now have my child start to worry about what I am up to this is too funny. :D

My original reason why I came on MFP was my daughter had just graduated college and I saw all these pictures and thought OMG I will one day be the fat mom at her wedding if I don't do something immediately. Now I am just trying to get to where I am comfortable in my own skin and in my new role. I'm not sure if my husband is adjusting as well to the new me or really the me I was before I had our daughter. It's amazing how easy it is to get lost. To focus on things you thought were important and when they move on you have to readjust. Why didn't I take better care of myself? So many questions that seem to pop up especially when I'm walking the park. LOL

Oh and do I like chocolate YOU BETCHA!!! I have some everyday. ;)

My grandmother is 93 weighs 144 lbs and lives on sweets if she can do it I can incorporate it into my diet.
