Whole chicken in 35 minutes!

Season your chicken, put it in the pressure cooker with 1.5 cups broth, and cook on high for 25 minutes. Let pressure release naturally (about 10 minutes.) Release extra steam, and the chicken is done!
This does not make a nice skin, so if you like a crispy skin, you can try browning the breast skin first, OR you can crisp the skin up for a bit in a hot oven after using the pressure cooker. But if you won't use the skin, the chicken is ready to eat right away.

Hi! Nicole,
Thanks for starting this group. I got my instant pot during the amazon prime deal. Enjoying it so far but still learning. I look forward to trying this whole chicken soon.0 -
Thank you for joining! I hope we'll get some people in here and we can all share recipes and ideas. It's as great way to cook healthy food.
I got a Fagor electric pressure cooker a couple of years ago after hearing from my mom how good it was, and I love it! I have only made a few things in it though and I want to increase my repertoire. I get busy during the school year running kids around and I'm hoping increased use of the pressure cooker will help me keep eating at home instead of running out. A big help when trying to eat healthy!0 -
I have to admit I was reluctant at first. I was worried where I would put it. So my sister bought it. I am the only one who has used it so far. I am following a group on Facebook and they have done it all. If I am looking for advice I just such their post. I always find something. I am dying to make pho next. I saw a video where two kids made it. So my thoughts is if they can I should be able to handle it.
