Good Morning BBB.
Wow has it been busy here - lots of banter.
Where is Tommie?
Heading to the VA with Jack this morning. Then a meeting with the task force director of operations to address our team leader issues. It should be interesting.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Morning Gang! Today is punch list day at the ole 'stead! We're getting close. Wish MommaMoody could come educate the cleaning contractor they hired. At one point yesterday we had 7 of the laborers (all hands on deck) scrubbing the ceramic floor in basement to get off all the drywall and grout mud that accumulated while the contractor paid LaZBoy team $100 to sit outside before they could bring the furniture in. Oi Vay! Anyway....
Raine - have fun with Happy Jack today! Still waiting to see picture of that new couch!
Steph - hope your happy hour was a smash!
A former student dropped off 12 pack of my favorite nectar: Alaskan Amber (can't buy here on the East Coast). That was a nice gesture and surprise treat!
Off to do good! Inspire someone today! ~Cheers0 -

Mornin' BBB.
Ha! Read through yesterday's thread. Hope the pants and honey hole discussion doesn't get it poofed.
Got home from work Wednesday night, hooked up boat and drove to RI boat launch. Met a fishing buddy on the way. Started fishing about 10 pm under a full moon and on calm seas. One of the better nights we have had fishing. Did indeed find the "honey hole". Released many fish. Kept one striped bass each for grill. Headed in about 2 am. During long drive home, realized my back was aching from catching so many large fish. That is a good ache.
Got home about 5 am running on empty. Stayed awake on drive home with a donut and a Micky D breakfast sandwich and lots of coffee. Napped for about 2 ours and then went and trained with Geoff the trainer for about 4 hours, almost too hot to train dogs, and I got a bit dehydrated and got a nasty leg cramp.
Came home and napped another couple of hours, got up and washed down salty boat and equipment, tended the garden, made dinner for DW and myself. Passed out watching Olympics.
Sam, your adventures in moving do not motivate me to try that anytime soon. God bless ya!
Mary, congrats on your sale and dental appointment!
Bob, thoughts and prayers for your DD.
BTW, I like pants on guys. Ladies can go pantless.
Have a great day, everyone.

Bill - I hope the lunch list is small. No couch pics until we move out the old one 'cuz it looks like a furniture showroom. Old one going to Veterans Closet but we have to wait for help to carry it out and load it up.
Lee - sounds like you did almost all of your favorite things in the last 24 hours. Wow!
Sam - rest up for the weekend projects - at least you will have help.
Mary - keep up the good work.
Bob - praying for your DD.0 -

Good morning group. Had a great evening last night at DS open house and getting caught up with house work. Today he has tryouts for a fall baseball team (fingers crossed!) Did I see on yesterday's post there is a happy hour today for our group and it involves Hula Dancers being shown live via Skype for all?
Hope everyone has a fantastic day and will chat soon!

Lou - interview?
Corbin - did you say a happy hour with hula dancers? Wow! Perfect for this group.0 -
Dennis had them at his block party - so BBB thought, wow, "what a great idea" - Corbin took for action! Should be fun!0

Can we start happy hour now? Its 5'oClock somewhere.
Motorbike trip for SO and guys cancelled. Seems Wisc is going to have a rain washed weekend. I have a plan for him to install the two new storm/screen doors we purchased a while back. We have none, how weird is that? So excited to be able to open the doors and get some cross breeze in! We did the full view type. They are nice!
Everyone, enjoy your Friday!

Dennis, summer is typically slow in the HVAC industry, they dont want to install anything new, or even bring systems down for maintenance, since they need the AC on 24/7...
What I sell is capital equipment budgeted in prior year most times. Budgets all over, esp for improvement have been cut. Doesn't help no one is spending much, and oil prices are down, so that market sector sucks right now too.
I want to try to find out, how I can get info on refineries, universities, hospitals, and the like, that might have capital equip budgets left to spend yet in 2016?? Since if I can push some orders by end of year yet, for delivery next year....
I need a marketing department. All sales, marketing etc. is on me alone by myself. Its not working.0 -
Oh it's 5 o'clock somewhere isn't it.
*good luck at the VA Raine. Jack is the best.
•Hang in there Mary. Hope HVAC stuff picks up for ya.
You are so right going to be over 100deg here today and AC 24/7 for now. True.
Thanks for the good thoughts for DD.

Sending you a virtual toast, Mary! How about we kick today off with a Top Shelf Petron Silver Margarita (shaken not frozen)..... No salted rim!0

Hey Skip! Sounds like what I was forced to drink at night rafting on the Colorado river. Well somebody planned ahead and brought the Patrón and fixins. Great trip for what I can remember of it.0
