Where to log?

Hey everyone! I noticed when I linked my Fitbit with MFP it states to log my workouts and my food only in MFP. The food clearly I understand. But I don't get why we should log our workouts into MFP only. Isn't that the point of the Fitbit to gauge our activity. I use FITSTAR exercise app that syncs right with my Fitbit to log my workouts. I am just wonder what you guys do and if it works for you and why ect?! Thanks!

The sync goes both ways, so I'm not sure why it should be that way (if anyone does know, feel free to enlighten).
I log my food in mfp, and all my exercise in fitbit (most of my cardio is running anyway, so the fitbit picks it up automatically).1 -
MFP wants you to log exercise in MFP because they want your eyeballs on their site, not Fitbit's. The problem is that the exercise linking back to Fitbit then over-writes the better data that Fitbit generated.
