Running in Vegas

I'm going to be in Vegas for work at the end of this month (horrible I know) and while I'm fully prepared to put in all the miles I need on a treadmill I would like to avoid some of it if I can. That being said does anyone know of good running spots in Vegas or even groups that I could get in contact with? Not looking for anything big but not running around the strip or on a treadmill would be preferred.

Yeah I'm always cautious of those without knowing of a personal experience. The group looks healthy enough maybe I'll just drop them a line and see what happens.0

hi @azercord .
I don't have any advice regarding running groups.
But...
I was in Las Vegas for a vacation in July. I really wanted to take part in a run while I was there, but none were hosted so I just jogged alone on the strip and it was really nice.
I would leave from my hotel room at MGM at 6am, went north on Las Vegas Blvd, turned around at Circus Circus, and head back. About a 6 mile jog.
It was lovely and cool in the early mornings. I had the strip all to myself as most people were still sleeping. It was so nice to look at the big buildings and navigate the walkways and over walkways.
I carried mace with me(as usual) and I had no trouble. Saw a few police officers on bikes. Waved. and continued.
It was nice to be alone in the streets that are usually super busy. It was 111 degrees by 9am so I was always sure to be back in the hotel by then.
I did find some runs you may be interested in:

@azercord yeah, It's before most of the businesses open. Some people are out having breakfast, but it's mostly dead.
I did see some other joggers (maybe 6) , so if you wanted you could stop one of the joggers and have a convo :-) make a friend and find a group that way. Maybe.
Enjoy the city while you are there :-)
I had breakfast at Bouchon and I cried over the Oeufs Benedict. Heavenly.
