Anybody here do lifts and Keto? Notice any difference in fat burn? Looking for friends with open diaries so I can peek and get ideas

    Um, I've done keto and weightlifting. I don't feel that I needed any pre workout carbs or anything...I really don't think anyone does, unless you are a professional bodybuilder. I have plenty of fat stores to feed from, and being keto adapted means your body feeds from them anyway. Having said that, if you aren't keto adapted and drop your carbs dramatically, I think you will feel very tired and sluggish for a while and your performance in life will suck for a bit...the gym too!

    I'm not keto anymore. Keto for me ment eating lots of keto foods like pepperoni and hunks of cheese and McDonald's with no buns. Hardly health food. So I'm focusing on homemade real foods, including fruits and some starchy veg. No sugar, no grains. I'm not logging right now either, but feel free to friend me. There is a great low carb group, too!
