    OK, DW completed the third lung test yesterday. Now we wait, again, on the cultures; up to 30 days. Hate the waiting.

    Good Morning. 30 days? I have become increasingly impressed with how slow things move in medicine. Things are not going well for me. Trying to get into a doc so I can spend less time in bed and get more work done.

    TB has historically been very very very slow to grow and be detected. I know some other tests are done lickity split and the docs just take their time with giving out the results but TB is different and takes much longer.
