Hey! So these are my stats: height - 4ft 11, weight - 120lbs, BMI about 24, TDEE 1,600, strength train 4x a week, 1x hour of dance a week, walk 12,000 steps a day on average. In order to lose fat and gain muscle with StrongLifts should I be eating at maintainance, deficit or actually eating extra calories? I just started the programme but have been strength training for a while now. Also a very active person generally :) thanks for the advice in advance! x

I would eat maintenance, or if you want to do a deficit, a very small one so that you've got plenty of energy to fuel your workouts and for optimum recovery. I put my stats into Scoobys workshop accurate calorie calc and selected lose fat gain muscle as the goal, I eat at maintenance and so far so good (I'm on my 7th week of Stronglifts) http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/

Thanks Mzbek! How are you getting on? have you noticed changes in your body yet doing maintenance and with StrongLifts? Also, do you do any other strength training besides SL? x
