Good morning! I'm moving slow ... I really should be getting ready, but I have a case of the "I don't wanna's". Must be the weather.
Kelly, I saw your messages from yesterday, but I obviously missed something because I'm in the dark about this wonderful date night.
Yes, Milkbone does need Jack. Everyone needs a little Jack in their lives!
Meetings this week have been especially powerful, which I love. I love my job! I get paid to love people - how awesome is that?! 3 more meetings today, then my Bible study tonight. It's "bring a verse" night, but I haven't decided which to bring. I've been reading like crazy all week, looking for the "one" ... we're down to hours now, so I may just need to just make a choice.
And speaking of reading, I read an absolutely incredible book recently that I recommend highly. It's called "Daring Greatly", by Brene Brown, and is about leadership with vulnerability - all forms of leadership, from corporate to parenting. I loved it so much that I bought 13 copies to give to friends for Christmas.

Good Morning,
Tis TGIF Eve,
Hope all got a GREAT HUMP in yesterday.
We got Boo'd night before last, so not to be out done we Boo'd and Booz'd two of our neighbors last night; that's two bottles DMIL will not be able to get.
First coat of mud on sheetrock where I tore large hole in dining room going into great room, have ordered natural ash hardwood which should be delivered by 9th Nov. and start going down 14th; hope to have complete by Thanksgiving.
Kelly, love blanket, looks like lots of work
Lisa, close your eyes, grab Bible and open, you will be given what needs to be shown for you or the benefit of another.
Pulling for Milkbone to realize what a great asset Jack would be to their marketing.
Praying for sickly and those down in spirit, the holidays are upon us and for some reason many are called home during this time of year; here's hoping this does not effect our BBB family.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am

Morning BBB
Can't believe it's Thursday already . Trick or treating sat the office today so the afternoon will be fun but unproductive.0 -
Late night last night.....hosted some school colleagues for a HH at one of my favorite breweries near my office. Twas fun - but didn't get done with email and homework and in bed until quite late.
Lisa - Here's one of my favorites from 1Thesselonians: "Change your thoughts and you change your world. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks." 1Thes 5:16-18
Lee - didn't realize you were a train commuter. How long is your daily trek?
Any news from the Milkbone club???
Sam - good for you for lifting up others.... This is my favorite time of year. I hope and pray we are able to make a difference in someones life this Holiday! Excited that our VFW will be doing free dinner for our members without a place to go!

Good Morning BBB.
Cubs Win!
The series moves to Wrigley Field - wow!
Jack's agent said he never heard back from Milkbone so they either postponed or whatever.
Lee - Enjoy training. I hope you beat the rain.
It rained here all day yesterday.
Lisa - I agree with Sam plus remember - they are all good.
Sam - I do not know what you mean by getting boo'd. Do tell. Sounds like the mud is underway and the opening will be done and looking good soon. Waiting for pics.
Kelly - I missed the date night scoop too. That blanket is awesome.
Bill - how is your back feeling?
Training this afternoon so late dinner.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Good morning.0

Raine - I love the phrase "Jack's agent!" I stand in reverence of our Four Legged Superstar!
Back is no better/worse. Go for Discography tomorrow morning. Ugh!
CUBs REALLY need to sweep in Wrigley!0 -
Morning BBB
I totally missed the Jolly Java mug exchanger initial post. I'm in and posted over on Lisas thread about it.
I'm already thinking about Christmas decorations in my head. Going to set up my village this year, which has never in its entirety been "all" set up. I received a few new dwellings over the last couple of years, but have not set it up in like 6yrs. Going to arrange them on top of my kitchen cabinets. I even have a power source up there! And get a min. 8ft real tree for the great room! Hope I can get one for $100 or so (wishful thinking?). Yikes they can be expensive.
What does those that have a tree on the BBB do? Im thinking real this year and try to snag a really nice pre lit artificial one end of this season on sale? Though, I've been looking at some already this year and Im not liking them much. Can be Really Expensive and now a different plastic type material, has any one seen these yet this year out? They look good far awa, but close up? Im not so sure.....
I guess since it was in the 40's here this morning, Im thinking winter... had the gas fireplace on last night in the new house, very cozy! I love our new house !
Also Love your blanket Kelly!
Go with the idea of close your eyes and point, Lisa!
Take care BBB

Date night was a murder mystery dinner at Ruth's Chris. Pretty fun.
And good morning!1 -
The rules are like a chain letter. To “boo” someone, you sneak onto their doorstep in the dark of night and leave a small bucket or bag of tricks and treats for them to discover.
Then, once you’ve been “boo’d,” you put a sign on your window (there are dozens of printables on Pinterest) saying you’ve been boo’d, and do it to 2 more houses.0 -
How friggen cool, Sam! Never hear of that. And certainly, my mind had a much different scenario than what you described. Don't judge me
Pray for us sinners, Lisa!!

Good morning BBB Friends. The blanket is beautiful Kelly. Great work. I have a tree with lights in the attic. It will find it's way to the living room sometime after Thanksgiving. The Cubs game was a whole lot more fun last night. Schwarber is amazing. Jack's agent, now there's a dream job.

Emma is looking snappy, Dennis!!!0

Nice tree Dennis.
Costco pre-Lit LED - sometimes without any ornaments. Just bask in the glow.0 -
Our tree(s)...then like Raine, a small pre-lit artificial inside. I imagine it'll be that way until we have grandchildren.

No tree at our house . Working rretail I am usually too busy to decorate and DH could care less
You can put your name on a list for the splayed trees at Boston store . As soon as they sell most of the ornaments off they sell for 75% off . Got my mom a beautiful one last year for ~$55 . Let me know if you need a good coupon . I still get lots0 -
Ok
Tree: we have 2. Real one in family room
"Charlie Brown " tree fake one in living room so people can see it as they drive by
Got a 3 tier wreath for front door this year.
All white lights outline the house.

You all are really stirring my holiday decorating pot at the new house! Nice photos! Im going with a real tree this year, likely a 7ft. Could be taller but Im only 5ft, so... you get the idea ha. Im going to light up the outside too. Classic traditional though, no character stuff or inflatables for me. Im not a big fan of the multi color led's for indoor tree now days. I guess Im just ol'fashioned. Im going with all clear mini bulbs on the tree this year. Many years its been mini multi color, and I use thousands. And my ocd makes sure there are no holes. Stand back and squint, you'll see where lights are missing and not just right. (I now scary, right. SO and my boys have learned, just go with it and let me have may way with it. LOL And Im setting up my village on top of my cabinets, but I think I told you all that already. I bought a new village pc yesterday. The xmas tree farm barn and accessories. I'll stop in Boston Store soon Steph and check that out - thanks for that lead! I think I do eventually, like next yr want the pre lit. Easier for sure. And real trees, nice ones, are so pricey. What I don't like are the new 2016 fake trees out, so plastic looking up close. Different this year. Check them out and let me know what you think?
Ok, TGIF! For now, this weekend is "major" leave removal. sigh. Remind me what happened to low maintenance yard? SO is going to buy a zero turn with a bagger. I told him yes, please do, this weekend. I don't think its going to happen that quick
Love the boo'd thing going on in Sam's hood!
Our gobblins will be ringing the bell Monday night.
Enjoy the day. It's 43F here, brrrrr Mr. Winter is a knockin
