    Good Morning,
    Happy Haunting!!!
Busy weekend where I need a day of rest.
Talked to a neighbor yesterday afternoon who told me to expect lots of trick or treaters, if we have lots I'm going to complain because we live in a gated community and someone is allowing them in; anyway I ask DW to go back to bank and get some more 1/2 dollars.
Prayers for those facing treatments and ailments; and so thankful that we have options and knowledge to care for these ailments now.
Don't forget to put on a costume or cover your face with a mask so you don't scare the kiddies tonight.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

    Good Morning BBB.
Wow - what a game - CUBS win - off to Cleveland Tuesday.
Bill - you are right - we are amped up here in Chi-Town!
We do not get trick or treaters - we live in a semi- rural area and they go where the getting is easier.
DH carved our pumpkins and I'll sauté the seeds tonight. Nice having an artist in the house - pics later.
Lee - how did the hunt trial go?
Dennis and Steph - love pet events at work and in the hood.
Lisa - love the fall pics.
Lou - how is Cecilia doing?
Bob - hugs to DD - I went through it so contact me if you want to talk.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Mornin' BBB.

DW not feeling well, so taking care of her this AM.

I let Babe down yesterday. I made a huge rookie mistake and let her get off course for an instant in first series ( in a period under 10 seconds, she circled back behind us instead working the cover in front of us) , but she made good finds, honored the brace dog well, and was steady so the judge passed her to second series where she smoked it and impressed everyone including the judge, but my mistake in the first prevented us from getting into the third series or ribbon round. Too many good dogs. Tough lesson for me and I knew better!

    Glad to see Cubs rally.

Haven't had one treat or treater in the 14 yrs we have lived in this house, so am not expecting any tonight. Hope everyone has a safe and fun time tonight.

Skip, hope your back is feeling better.

Bob, keep us posted on your DD. Prayers continue.

    BBB OP ;-)

•Rained on Raine recently but hey how about those cubbies. Or as rousing rendition of "Go Cubs Go" Thanks for the Ts and Ps for DD and her treatment. I may need to do something like a combo chemo myself.
•Lee. Hope you and dogs did great in trial
    • pumpkin carving. yea my son-in-law has done an unimaginable job on a gazillion pumpkins. They have a very long wooded driveway and piece of the forest where they live amongst new homes lined with intricate carved pumpkins. Helps take their minds off of DD's cancer thing too.
    • I am trick or treating at Sam's tonight wearing 20 different costumes to get my 10 bucks worth.

Lee - rough way to learn but AB rocks and will always carry you.
Bob - I'll join you trick or treating at Sam's house - we can make out like bandits
Bill - no mention of your back lately - are you on the mend?

Lee - tough lesson - but sounds like AB surely made an impression and continues to be an outstanding companion!

Discography was supposed to be last Friday. Doc was in an emergency case and my appointment is rescheduled (unknown).... Hoping to get resolution soon. In the interim - medicine (read - the good stuff) continues to keep me in a manageable state. Sigh.....

Bob - lets go trick Sam out of all those half dollars :D

Come on down, we can sit out with some bottles of wine and watch the kiddies come through. Should still be warm since the daily highs this week are still in the mid 80's and still no rain forecasted for next 10 days.
Just saw on news where farmer is being charged with animal cruelty for not providing enough hay and water for cattle.
Someone needs to start paying the preacher.

Good morning BBB Friends. Spent the morning getting the car serviced. Living in an old folks community we don't get trick or treaters so we cater to our furry kids. Cubs pulled it off last night but the bats still need to come alive if they want success in Cleveland. I was glad to see Jason Heyward finally have some success. He was a favorite in ATL. Bob, my best wishes for you and DD. The combination of modern medicine and heart felt prayers work wonders. Mary, it was a good football game between our teams yesterday.
