Like the concept of reusable, but the size of the batteries is a major downside0

So do I, though with the alarming trend in Hollywood of remaking everything, I do worry they'll remake it without playing things for laughs..0

Just got some Bar Mitts. It's supposed to be 12 degrees F for my trip home in the morning. I'll tell you how they do.0

It's a waterproof cap to wear under a helmet. Plus points - keeps the head dry and warm, peak keeps most of the rain and wind off the face, peak also works to keep sun out of the eyes when cycling towards the sun if it happens to not be raining. Minus points - head gets really hot if conditions aren't cold or wet enough, doesn't keep your ears warm, you look a bit of a tool wearing it.0 -
I must admit, I love my "belgian" wooly hat, but it's just a shade too thick to fit comfortably under either of my helmets now (I was fine under my Specialized Propero II, but that was damaged a month or so ago when I had to take evasive action to save running over a 6 stone 4'7" geriatric dog walker who jumped out in front of my bike while I was on the crosser... She thought she was saving her dog (wasn't - i'd have missed the fecking thing by a mile) but instead she basically made me choose either going through a fence and into the canal or into a bridge parapet. Tried to stop, but ended up putting up a good defensive forehead against the bridge and the helmet was no more...

yeah - I'm REALLY noticing that, now instead of being just slow, i'm very slow, and my bloods been thinned to the point of looking like dilute vimto! anything under 10°C and I'm shivering like a shiteing dog...

The other thing I've been using is a "Dare2b Core Stretch Headband" from Halfords. Basically it's a wide headband thing, slightly shaped to cover your ears. That in combination either with a skully or particularly with the sealskinz hat does the job nicely0
