Morning gang
Up early and hanging at the airport. Not my favorite flight time but it was the one that was free with delta points . Stayed up way too late watching the election coverage. Not really the results I was expecting or hoping for.
DH had meeting until 5 so will have the day to see Vegas then penn and teller show tonight . After that no plans until we fly out of Phoenix on Sunday0 -

Not the results I was hoping for either. Oy.
Up and off to 12 hour MOBEX - both today and tomorrow. Jack and I will have fun training with our full task force - long days but we get to do our thing with a bunch of fine men and women and their equipment. Training site is about an hour away from our headquarters. Pictures to come as able and allowed.

I am not proud to have voted for the person I voted for. I feel I picked the lesser of two evils, and it was either that or not vote for the presidential candidates at all. The people have spoken. I hope and pray he steps up.

Good Morning,
Took off yesterday to take DW to Dr. about 35 miles from house, get her there a little early 9:37 she had told me her appointment was 10. She walks up to receptionist tells them she is a little early, they look at her and say yes 25 hours and 23 minutes; she pulls out appointment card and sees she had totally missed date and time. Thankfully they worked her in and she is doing better.
Number of ladies in neighborhood got together for watch party, said they were staying up till final results were known. Don't know if they made it or not we went to bed, but all was quiet and dark when I left at 5 this morning.

Now it's time for us all to UNITE to make the United States United, as for those who promised to move to Canada and France; hope you have a good move.

Well the $85Mil school ref. won, guess our property taxes go up about $375 a yr. That is a lot of money to get passed, and Im surprised in a way, it did. And Wisc's Paul Ryan keeps his seat. Wonder if he'll resign though as speaker? Wisc I guess could be the state the turned things for Trump. Interesting. I do think that one day, there will be a woman as President of the USA. And this election has paved the way for that. Many young women watching may just decide to step up to the task. I hope I live long enough to experience that one day.
My Annual physical yesterday went good. Blood test numbers are all good. Vit. D still low, so I'll continue with taking that supplement. Thyroid issue is being treated by my other doc so that wasn't really discussed much. Weight is up, as I very well know. Suggested 150 min. a week of cardio. With some resistance training as well. And I got a flu shot. And dang my arm is sore this a.m.
Jack/Raine have a great fun safe productive trip.

I was worried about meetings today - that it would come up, people would reveal their excitement or upset, and it would mess with the unity of the groups. It never came up. In 4 very talkative, very deep meetings, no one said a word about it. There were many members who talked at the scale with the receptionists about their emotions around it all, and my receptionists are loving, mature, and professional and handled it beautifully. But no one opened that can in the big group. I was very relieved.
Mary, that sounds like a productive doctor visit. Take care of you! We kinda like having you around. xo!
Sam, I actually offered to do all this. It was my idea. And it's going well ... it's just super-busy since it all happened to fall on the same week. Leading the Bible study was a last minute request of me, and I did consider turning that down, but I'd be there anyway and I prefer leading it to having someone else lead it whose facilitation skills are frustrating. Sometimes it's actually easier just to do it myself. It only takes a little prep. That might possibly make me a bad person in that regard, but it is what it is.
