How's everyone doing with the mug shenanigans? Don't forget that they need to be mailed by the 15th. Or else. :dizzy:

Skip, I posted my therapy notes for you on yesterday's thread, since you dared to ask.

In my meetings this week, we've been compiling members' wisdom based on their week last week. Here are a few of my personal favorites:
    * It's okay to say no to yourself.
    * I can always do the best I can with what I have wherever I am.
    * Realize that I'm just as happy without that.
    * I don't have to have everything.
    * This is probably not my last meal.
    * I don't have to have seconds.
    * When I eat, make the time to eat mindfully.
    * Buy gift cards for clothes as a reward throughout the process, to be saved for when I make goal. (one woman had hundreds of dollars in gift cards to Chico's saved up in her purse! She is determined!)
    * If you can't eat it responsibly (ha ha!), don't keep it in the house.
    * Holidays are manageable.
    * Eat what matters and skip what doesn't.
    * Bad days do not equal failure - they're normal.
    * Some things are out of your control. Decide to control what you can.
    * Be observant of what you learn that helps you.
    * I don't need a lot ... I need enough.

3 more meetings today to hear their beautiful words of wisdom. Have a great day, BBB!

    Outstanding list!

Following a very restless night of no sleep - I was able to enjoy a great/quiet HH with DW to cap off the day...My favorite watering hole has started to carry my favorite beer on tap: Old Bust Head! WOoooo Hooooo!

Plus they offered us 300 wings and two pans of their heavenly buffalo chicken dip and 5 $50 gift cards for raffle for our upcoming VFW Christmas Party! I love these guys! They are soooooo plugged into their community. Same people who donated 300 winds and salads for the firefighters when I took them lunch a few weeks after our home fire. OPTIMISM and INSPIRATION live on....

    Mornin' BBB.

That is a fine looking pint, Skip. I had a black and tan last night with my dinner.

"This is probably not my last meal"...LOL, I'm like a stray dog when I eat...military training, I guess. Never know when that next MRE will be provided. Never have recovered from the mentality of eating when food is available and as much as is offered.

I am so thankful for this day off.

Can't help but notice the trance everyone at the bar seems to be in. Nobody is watching the TVs.

    Good Morning BBB.
    Love this conversation.
Jack had a run at the dog beach yesterday.
Last night we had dinner with friends and then a stop at the local American Legion. Fun.
    Today is more beach time.
    Do good out there everyone.

Enjoy Florida weather, Raine. Jack deserves a vacation. He's a hard working dog.

Oh, and thanks for the mug reminder, Lisa. Got to ship mine.

    Good Morning,
    Tis TGIF Eve,
Lisa, I'm going to share some of your favorites.
I have after many years learned that men process feelings differently from females, not saying that either is the correct or proper way; main thing is to enjoy the process good or bad and know that through the span of time it will not matter one iota. Release harss feelings after one has processed them and know that to harbor them is only harming oneself.
Looking at picture it is one we see all too often when out, I believe that personal connections are being lost as well as communications are being stifled; but then I remember my mother complaining about the television way back when and what it was doing to society. But for me I need to communicate openly to folks without devices to go through, I love the personal interaction with people and believe when we go to break bread together we need to communicate and share with each other.
Raine, enjoy the beach and know we are all envious.
Skip, good to have neighborhood businesses that support local events; everyone must support business so they have resources to help community.
Lee, have a great day off and get some rest.
Dennis, hope DW's foot is healing and can be back dancing soon.
Kelly, leave tree and see if anyone else around will start decorating it; DS's will be home in week or so.
West coasters hope all are improving, please continue sending rain this way we do not like and did not want your wildfires.
Was planning on putting tree up yesterday, late when I finished yoga; may get this afternoon. Need to get by store and pick up a few things but every chance I have the kids are getting us to watch GK's. DW is at DD's today keeping DGS. Hope we still have house when we get home today, DMIL is there with the run of the place. Bottle of wine I opened Sunday for a 1/2 cup to go into roast was in trash last night as was another bottle that was being saved for Christmas. Reckon it's my fault for not hiding it good enough.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

Jack looks like he in his element, for sure! AWESOME!!!

It often amazes me how many people are chained to their mobile devices.....ironically, TV's all around us at this sports pub were sharing the devastation of the tornadoes - everyone was oblivious. Sad!

Bottoms up to DMIL for playing hide'n seek with you, Sam!

Good morning BBB Friends. Hugs for Lisa and my mug was mailed yesterday. DW saw on Facebook that one of her high school classmates lost a house in the Gatlinburg fire. The beach looks so inviting. I'm jealous. I get to ride into the big city today for a butt chewing. I love customer service. My words of wisdom, One cookie has half the calories or points that two cookies have.

    Morning gang.

Glad the Florida trip is a success.

Fight off a head cold so stayed home last night when DH went out with friends. Good choice as he was home after 12.

    Morning BBB

Love the list and wise words Lisa has offered.

The beach time looks wonderful. Jack does indeed look very content. Lots of pups running that beach, too!

Tree is half up, I ran out of lights. Stopping on way home for a couple more strings. Lots of work getting this new tree set up, pulling each and every branch up into position. Hmmm, I'm rethinking my choice here. Too late.

Good luck, Dennis. This too shall pass, right?

Dec. 1 and its still in the 40's-50's Deg. F here. I'll take it.

    Have a good day, BBB

    Good morning.

I think you should invest in something like a gun safe and use it for a wine cellar, Sam.

We've been following the events in Gatlinburg very closely since we were just there a few weeks ago. So sad.

Amen Lisa! We skipped gravy at Thanksgiving because salt was used in cooking the bird and (shock! shock!) the world as we know it didn't come to an end and we enjoyed our meal.

I might bring some of these up at our WW meeting on Sunday.

Just wondering if the paparazzi were trying to get photos of Jack nude on the beach?

Lee - the paparazzi were crazy for him. He had to disguise himself as a shark.

    Good evening
Catching up on the board and laughing
Good picture jack oh and Raine!
Thinking about Raine and a few things:
Do you stay in the rv at a park in englewood?
Since your husband is an artist, didn't you mention him helping with the coffee mug last time we did the exchange? Who got it?
My mug is done on my end, waiting on the kiln now. Yes. Kiln. One lucky soul will have a Kelly Moody exclusive one of a kind mug. Ha.
Doing great tracking here. Loved the list Lisa offered
Sam, the floors look great and I love Lou's idea. Safe for the liquor. I think that would be called a liquor cabinet with a key.
I too noticed that at the bar everyone was looking at their phone. Funny that Lee mentioned it.
    Ok. That's it for me.
Have a great night, what's left of it.
