So today I received a call from the principal of a local middle school. She asked me where I did my student teaching and whether I enjoyed it. She then said that they were trying to move things quickly and asked if I was available for an interview tomorrow. I have to work from 12-4 at one of my part-time jobs, and I let her know that I would have to be at work by noon. We then set up an interview for 8 AM tomorrow.
This is my first interview as an English language arts teacher, and I am VERY excited. This school is really focusing on technology integration, which is one of my strengths. I also LOVE teaching middle school, so I feel like this school will feel like home to me.
Please wish me luck and feel free to offer any advice for the interview.
