In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.
Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!
Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!
Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

Last week, not too bad. Too busy over the weekend to check in, Plus we had our 1st snow in Chicago too and I was stuck driving in it too but one positive about last week is I got in over 7 hours of sleep 3 days last week and 2 of those days were over 8 hrs and already last night I got in another 8 plus hours so my sleep habits are really improving. Even on the days I do not hit the 7 I am very close!

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is doing well. I am back from my trip and had a wonderful time. I did not overdo the eating which is a good thing. not too many sweets and no in between meals nonsense.
I am not sure what I am going to do going forward but clearly there has to be some solutions.
Molly- sounds like great progress last week. I see you are keeping it going this week. thanks for getting us off to another week.
My goals the rest of the week.
smart eating and figuring out a workout schedule that will work with things and my foot problems. I will let you know. I did do a lot of stairs this weekend as my friend has bedrooms on the second floor. I had to take them slowly so as not to aggravate my hip. but I didn't hesitate to do them multiple times. that was a good thing.

No Goals this week but will try to eat healthy and get to the to the gym at least 2 times this week2 -

I know I will not check in every day but my sleep is measure on my fitbit and I put stars on my calendar for under calories and steps, so even if I don't check in, I can still track.
Lets finish strong! maintenance for me is a good goal! If I lose some great. I see 2 doctors on January 5th so that will help me stay on track. That is why I have to try to check in somewhere. I would love to be down on both Even if I maintain I will take it. I see an orthopedic doctor and she expects a loss for sure so that will help me stay on track

I hear you about the craziness at the end of the month. good job with your sleep and how insightful to know that getting enough sleep will help you stay on track. Also great idea to have realistic goals especially this time of year.
I have been mindful of my choices. My food has been so so but getting in steps so far this week. 2 days of 5400 and 1 day over 7000.
Still need to get geared up a bit more. since my feet have been hurting (but a little better) I need to schedule going to the gym and riding the bike and doing the treadmill. definitely need to get in better shape.

Molly- Great job checking in. 2 days of steps over 7,000 is great and I see you got a couple of good days of sleep in.
Sherri- How are things going for you these days? whatever way life is turning, you can still make some good decisions. it is not about perfection but about making as many smart choices as you can.
Hearts- I would love to hear from you and see how things are going. if you can't check in with us right now, that is understandable. take care and be kind to yourself. you are so worth it.
I have been getting in good step counts this week. I plan to try a workout tomorrow to see how it effects my feet and hip. then go from there.

Good Morning Warriors
I will likely not be checking in every day as you all know this is a busy time of the year. I am trying to be careful with what I am eating and am still going to try to get to the gym a couple of times this week. Let's keep in touch and maybe next year I will start a new group just for the 4 of us. Will try to figure out a Great name for the group and would love any suggestions that you may have.
Thanks for all your wonderful words, encouragement and friendship this last year. Looking forward to another year of good times, great conversations and reaching goals that we thought we could never make. I know there are going to be some not so good days but I know that you wonderful women will be there to get me through them.
