I'm scheduled now for a c-section at 39w3d. That's January 11th.

I've stopped exercising mostly...after walking for more than 5 minutes I start having braxton hicks and feel like the baby is trying to fall out. That's not the case since I'm pretty sure my cervix is high and tight...I don't progress through labor, that's why I'm having the 3rd section. They will likely check me at my 35 week appointment on Tuesday.

Anyone else seeing the light at the end of the tunnel?

That's exciting! And a very good day to choose haha. Same day as my sister's birthday.
I can't see the light at the end myself, but it is almost shocking how fast the first trimester was over. I'm guessing the rest of the time doesn't move quite so quickly?

The first two trimesters are like super fast...and then the 3rd one lasts for like 100 years. The last month is the absolute worst. I think I've been 36 weeks pregnant for 2 years.

Hahah oh man. That's funny! Is the 3rd trimester that uncomfortable?

YES! I'm down to 23 days now and I'm a hot mess. Still at work...but while I had no morning sickness this pregnancy I've been a serial puker for the past 5 days. Having hours of false contractions and I sleep maybe 2-3 hours a night.

I'm afraid to keep coming to work because when I talk to people I either want to cry or punch them in the face.

Sitting gives me contractions, standing makes my feet swell, laying down gives me puke inducing heartburn.

I wore a pad to work today because I had this completely neurotic feeling that my water might break at work.

This is my 3rd kid...I know better.

It's time to stop being a hero and ask the doctor to take me out.

My c-section is scheduled during my 38th week on Jan 13. I am on maternity leave and not feeling too bad most of the time, but I'm overwhelmed for different reasons.

4 more days... But it's supposed to snow tonight. And both my other kids were born hours before a snow storm.

I don't want to go in labor now. I can wait for the section.. Why have all that pain when they will have to do a section any way? They told me if I go in labor not to come to the hospital until contractions are close or water breaks and then they will do my section. Blah. I don't remember labor being so fun I want to do it for no reason.

sorry it took so long. I had Evan on January 10tth at 7:45am during a repeat c-section. He was completely healthy/ 8lbs 12 oz and 22" long. He will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and I think he's about 10lbs now. He's thriving.

Everything went smoothly with the exception that I was unable to get my tubes tied. I had too many adhesions and scar tissue from past c-sections and they couldn't see my fallopian tubes. My options now are to send hubs in to get snipped or to have it done laproscopically after my 6 week post partum appointment. I'm on my desktop or I'd post a picture of the little monkey. They are all on my phone.
