Sleeve Surgery Dec 13th 2016...Words of Encouragement anyone?

I'm both nervous and excited. I'm a 39 yr old mom to a 3 yr old boy. Its just a few days away from my surgery date and I'd love to hear some words of wisdom, your success story or some encouragement!!!

    You've gotten to this point, so you should be ready for the big step! Hopefully you have a good support system for the next couple of weeks. It will be a big change, and it will be tough for a week or two, but after a few days, each day should get better than the last, and soon you will forget the tough days and be in the rapid weight loss phase.

    Follow your program, stay positive and let us know how it goes.

    FYI, this group is one of the less active WLS groups. Head on over to the Gastric ByPass/VSG/LapBand group! Read a lot of the threads (especially the older ones) and you will see the wide breadth of experiences. Feel confident that your experience will fall somewhere in that range, and that all of us made it through!
