    My name is Danielle DeLong. I am Ho-Chunk, a mother of three, and work for the SPPS Indian Education program. I have found being healthy and fit a challenge for my entire life. That said, I have recently lost over 100 pounds and would love to maintain an active lifestyle and continue eating healthy, but it is still challenging for me. When I first started my journey towards health I used a fitbit and myfitnesspal.com to help me understand the balance between input of calories vs output of calories. I also had incredible friends who supported me and would invite me to join them in healthy activities, and a community that offered cooking and nutritional classes for free! Anyway, it is my hope that this Wanaisguni Hikurus Hajawi (Reclaiming Our Health) group can do the same for its participants! I know that our ancestors were traditionally healthy and active peoples, and I would love to see all of us live long and healthy lives!! I am happy you each have a fit bit zip now and are on this website; with these tools I hope we can make some good changes for life!! Woot Woot!

    Boozhoo! My name is Rayna Goggleye-Paulson. I am a decendent of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. My momma is an enrolled member. I want to continue to be healthy and active because I like to be healthy. I like to dance. I like to do sports, especially LaCrosse. It is important for me to be healthy because I do not want to get Diabetes! It has effected my family members. I want to be a positive role model for students and adults too.

    Aaniin! My name is Caley Coyne. I am half Athabaskan Indian and Yupik Eskimo on my moms side and half Irish on my dads side. I like to be active because it helps you when you are older, makes you healthier, and helps your body. I love dancing at Pow Wows and playing sports. Especially Basketball. I want to help other Adults/Children become more healthier, stronger, and more active :3

    My name is Carlos I'm Mexican and native I'm from Boise forte and I like to play soccer and football in my free time. I run around and am active. My favorite foods are hot cheetos and I like energy drinks too. I want to be healthy so when I'm older I could be more physically active

    Hey I'm Brecie and I go to college at the U. I like playing volleyball and swimming. My fitness goals are to go to the gym more and eat healthier so I can have a positive influence on my family. I want to encourage them to care about their health too and show them change is possible.
