    Tis Frydee! Frydee! Frydee!
    TGIF!!!!
    Good Morning,
Cold for us this morning, 29 degrees but warming for weekend with highs in 60's and a little rain which we still need.
Looking forward to sleeping in Saturday and Sunday; note past 6 a.m.
May get off WW course Saturday night and visit a seafood frenzy: oysters raw, stew, fried; shrimp steamed, scampi, fried; clams; several types of fish blackened, broiled and fried along with many sides which I stay away from. They also have chicken, beef and pork cooked several ways but I go for seafood. Desserts are not worth points so why fool with dessert bar.
Hard to believe there is only 9 days till Christmas and 15 more days this year.
Hope Skip is doing better and will possibly get to go home this weekend, that way he can have his sweaty italians and will not have to worry about pain.
Hope all others are enjoying your snow and cold.
Dennis, hope DW is healing as before.
Hope projects are going on schedule and know that they will really appreciate them.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

I'm up already, on a day off - sigh too early. Snow started lightly already. Storm should dump a good amount by Sat night.

Im going to wrap gifts today, check my list twice, seems all on it have been nice :)

Hope Bill gets a better day. And Dennis' DW is good too.

You all have a good Friday, stay warm...

    Good Morning BBB.
    Yesterday HazMat training was interesting.
Mary and I are getting more snow today.
Taking my secret Santa mug to UPS today - a day late but so worth it!
Hopefully Bill is getting released today.
Dennis - I hope DW's foot surgery went as smooth as the last one.
Kelly - in answer to your question - there are at least 4 doctors on this board.
Lisa - I know the music you perform at the church this weekend will be beautiful.
    Do good out there everyone.

Good morning BBB Friends. DWs surgery went well yesterday. She's sitting on the couch with her foot propped upped and iced, knitting a baby blanket for one of my colleagues. She'll be good as new in a week. Let's hope Skip is progressing well too. I was admiring my BBB coffee mug collection from the last few years. Thanks everyone....

    Mornin' BBB.

Went pheasant hunting in AM and then duck hunting in PM yesterday. Dang cold on the water yesterday afternoon. Painful on ride back to boat launch after sunset. The two labs that were with us did not seem to care about the cold at all.

Still trying to warm up. 9 degrees this AM.

Skip, hope you getting pain under control.

Kelly, you think 11 inches is funny?

Bob, I would imagine your children and your DW are not pleased with you riding in less than optimal weather. Be careful on those studded tires.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good morning.

Heading out to New Jersey in a bit to attend my nephew's Bar Mitzvah tomorrow. Yes. I'm the idiot that's chasing the cold weather and snow.

•Yeah Lee I just rode around the block and haven't touch my bike since Wed. Drove carefully to gym and did spinning bike yesterday. Walked 3 miles this morning with my yaktrax to the wetlands where I got a nice cell phone of a great blue heron just 10 feet away. Made my day. The yaktrax are workin' for me pretty well. We don't have much snow but no plowing or salt to clear the roads at all except maybe one freeway. It has been closed off and on.
•Dennis glad your DW surgery went well.
•Hang in there Skip in your basement lair.
    •Stay warm everybody

Dennis, I love that idea of gathering all the past mugs for a photo shoot! I'm going to do it, too. After my nap. :)

Skip, I am glad you made it down to your lair and are on track for healing. Be kind to you!

Raine, I wish you could come to the service! You did remind me that I should probably practice a little. I'm sure you rocked the training!

    Sam, enjoy that seafood!

So Jim and I are celebrating 25 years on the 28th, and we're going to recreate our honeymoon. We'd gone to Chicago back then, but I was underage so we couldn't get into any of they NYE parties, and we were broke so really all we did was walk around town and dream. It was still perfect for us, and we were happy! But we're going back again, and this time we're going to a big shindig in the hotel for NYE and to see Phantom of the Opera another night. We have a room at a really nice hotel (where the party is). Some of you may have seen my post this morning about trying to find a certain dress .... I did find it, but then I went out and bought another one anyway for the party. I'm so excited to get all dressed up and go to this thing - we've never gone to one of those before! There are supposed to be multiple ballrooms open with several live bands, tons of food, decorations, the whole 9 yards. But the thing I'm most looking forward to is getting dressed up and dancing with DH and kissing him at midnight.

How awesome, Lisa! Hoping you and Jim have a spectacular time run the Windy City! Carrie and recreated our honeymoon this year at our honeymoon spot - it was awesome... NYE, anymore, I am lucky to make to midnight - let alone go out and kick up me heels
