Will Fitbit iOS update to 2.30 bork my connection to MFP

I have a charge2. What have other people experienced with this update? Any advice? Off to get on my treadmill, back later :)

    My co worker was telling me about the update but I don't think mine has it even though it's brand new as if yesterday
