Heart rate spikes and drop outs.

Hi. Any Apple Watch users experience large spikes and drop outs while doing calisthenics type workouts. Like sometimes i will have a heart rate around 120 to 140 and it will spike to 200 or drop and sit at 60 for a minute or so while using the workout "other" or using aerobics with UA record. It's also very noisy compared to using my tickr x or polar h7 with their apps. Was hoping the Watch would be good for wrist monitoring but may have to just channel feed from iPhone polar beat app. Pity for a $400 Watch.

I have had that problem. Recently purchased the Series 2 Apple Watch. What i found was that the watch has to be tight on your wrist, without cutting off circulation. I primary do weight workouts and found that if i leave it too loose, then the heart rate becomes very cyclic. Try it and see if it helps.
