Does anyone here run with snowshoes? My wife bought me a pair of Dion 121's for Christmas and I tried them out today. Liked it a lot.

Anyone have any experience?

    I'm brand new to it too, but I love it so far. I'm borrowing a pair from a running friend right now, which are kind of old, but do the job. I am looking around to buy some. I hadn't seen the Dions - they look great. What kind of bindings did you get?

    I hope you've had some good snow to try them out. We finally got some in the last couple of days after losing all of it and I was happy to get them out again today.

    I've been talked into a couple of snowshoe 5k races in the next month. We'll see how that goes!

    I have a pair of snowshoes, but they are made more for deep snow and not so much for running. I have a set of YakTrax, which are good on packed, snowy/icy trails and a pair of Kahtoola Nanospikes which are good on snowy, icy roads. I used the latter this morning through slush, ice, and snow.
